Amid a 🐻 market, people from all over the globe flocked to NFT.NYC in New York City for what is to date the largest NFT-focused conference ever.

Why is this a sign of hope?

For one, it signals a willingness by those building, investing and trading in nfts to hodl, as has been observed in DeFi. It is also a great show of how community is at the center of this industry. IRL is always best. Lastly, with a focus more on the tech stack behind NFTs, this shows a commitment larger than financial investment into nonfungibletokens. Trading is only a portion of what smart contracts can deliver. The question of how this industry will develop remains, however enthusiasm is still going strong 🖖
